The developers have released the 6th post-launch patch for Schedule 1. This update (version 0.3.3f15) fixes several bugs and includes some minor tweaks. Most notably, they've created an "alternate version" of the game specifically designed for players experiencing crashes.
Important: If you're experiencing consistent crashes, try the new alternate version detailed below.
Alternate Version
According to the patch notes, the alternate version is identical to the normal version but uses a different scripting backend (Mono instead of IL2CPP). While this version might be slightly less performant, it should handle errors better and be less prone to crashing.
Players experiencing consistent crashes should consider trying this alternate version. You can switch to it using the same method as opting into beta versions. The developers have stated that if players report fewer crashes with this version, they'll continue maintaining it alongside the regular version.
An additional benefit of the alternate version is that it sends more detailed bug reports back to the developers, which should help with troubleshooting even if crashes persist.
